Pre-Law Club

The Acadia Pre-Law Club is a student-run group dedicated to bringing together students who share a passion for law.

The Pre-Law Club provides resources for students who are considering or preparing for law school, such as information sessions, LSAT prep, and guest speakers from various sectors of the legal world. Club members join a community of similarly-interested students, enjoying social events and a network of peer support and friendship. The Acadia Pre-Law Club strives to provide invaluable resources and community support, enabling students to smoothly transition to their journey into the legal world.

Pre-Law Club Events

Deviate 2019

DEVIATE '19 was the Acadia Pre-Law Club's inaugural law conference held on March 29, 2019. The conference was open to students across all departments/disciplines, faculty, and the surrounding community. The objective of the conference was to explore new issues within our Canadian legal system that are forcing us to DEVIATE from our existing approaches and standards, including the impact of Artificial Intelligence, climate change, free speech, and globalization. Panelists included Dr. Kelly Dye (Business), Dr. Marc Ramsay (Philosophy), and Dr. Erin Crandall (Politics).
