2019: Dr. Shiri Pasternak presents "Assimilation or Segregation? A Talk on the Status of Indigenous Economic Rights in Canada"

Dr. Shiri Pasternak is the 2019 H.T. Reid Lecture Keynote Speaker.

She is the author of the award-winning book Grounded Authority: the Algonquins of Barriere Lake Against the State and the Research Director for the Yellowhead Institute, a First Nations-led think tank based in the Faculty of Arts at Ryerson University. Her current research interests involve studying the risk of Indigenous rights in the natural resource extraction economy.
